As an agency, Miscellaneous distributes the lovely Midori Traveler’s Notebook and Company range throughout the Benelux, Germany and Scandinavia. Although a non-fashion item at first, we do cater to the nicest fashion retailers in our region.
We are a small company, which makes things nice and personal, and we do not acknowledge any boundaries in terms of possibilities, aspirations, kinds nor sorts.
Miscellaneous is now hiring interns for 2012.
The Miscellaneous-store.com Internship
You will support our team in the daily routine of our webshop. In this you are responsible for the front end (product photography, writing descriptions), the back end (uploading images, keeping our shop up to date, managing our stockroom), the vital customer service and our (online) marketing (in the broadest sense of our online visibility: social media/wishlists, blogs, newsletters and analyzing past sales). In addition, we are working towards launching a new stationery focused webshop. So the Miscellaneous-store.com Internship will also entail the conceptualization (branding, concept and positioning) of this new webshop and its implementation.
The Miscellaneous Internship
You will support our team in the daily routine of our agency. In this you will be responsible for optimalising our B2B sales by analyzing our current sales and writing a plan to optimalize this to the fullest for each individual retailer. As part of our branding strategy, you will also support us in finding new points of sales, by researching and sourcing new territories and defining the best fit of retailers in a specific region. You will keep us up-to-date in our professional field, by briefing us on what’s new and fresh on the relevant blogs and media. If applicable in the period of your internship, you may support us on (international) tradeshows (e.g. Bread and Butter Berlin).
Miscellaneous is looking for you
Your main qualities are a good feel for fashion and lifestyle brands and a good command of English.
In addition, you have good computer skills (we work with Apple), a good eye for aesthetics and a bright personality.
We love the passionate, outgoing, flexible and eager to learn-types.
